METRO staff is actively involved in the Houston region in a variety of ways, including:

  • Promoting METRONow initiatives
  • Partnering with local organizations to promote public transit
  • Educating students and seniors about discounted fare options
  • Connecting record-breaking crowds to major events
  • Launching new services

Harris County Precinct One Bright Futures Fair

The Bright Futures Fair offers businesses, organizations and non-profits, the opportunity to share valuable, age appropriate, interactive information in the areas of health, safety, careers and education for children ages 6-16. METRO staff will be available to answer questions about our routes, services and student discount program.
